Our Mission

John F. Hartranft is dedicated to the success of every student; through the combined effort of staff, students, parents, and the community, John F. Hartranft will educate, empower, and enable all students to become caring, lovers of learning that are equipped to succeed and lead in the world of today and tomorrow. We promote teaching by example, working together, and appreciating multicultural diversity amongst all students and staff. Our success will be based on a caring environment and achieved with the active participation of students, parents, staff members, and the community.
With involvement, there is commitment and we at John F. Hartranft believe that what we do makes a difference in the lives of others.


Our Vision

John F. Hartranft is committed to creating a positive and safe school environment where each student can excel academically and reach their highest potential. We are committed to meeting the social development needs of our students through the implementation of Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS). We are committed to using assessment data and ongoing professional development to ensure knowledgeable and intentional instruction. Through staff collaboration and the development of meaningful relationships with parents and community partners, all of our students will develop the academic and social skills necessary to become leaders and productive citizens.
